Since it is too cold to ride, I do little projects instead.
This is the rough cut. I will do a little detail work and then hit em with some high temp clear coat. They will stay 'brushed'- not going for a mirror finish.
I like silver parts. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like on the bike.
That looks like it was a lot of work lol. Mine are covered in road grime and bug guts.

Side covers on my 1983 VF750F Interceptor looked like this!
I think I'd go over it with 300 then 600 grit wet sandpaper before clearcoating.
