Yes.

Trip to work and back.

An hour ride.

A three hour tour.

All day ride.

Day after day all day ride.

The bike won't complain.

Welcome to the forum, Dfavata!

I'll represent the other end of the spectrum here. I make the run back to my folks in Kansas once or twice a year, 750 mi. straight thru, usually on my old Guzzi 850 T3. Yes, I get tired, but my seat never bothers me. I could be completely wrong, but I attribute that "iron butt" ability to many years of riding a Brooks Pro hard leather saddle on my bicycle. I just don't seem to have a problem with seats.

At the moment, I do not have a CB1100 yet. I've been astride one on the show room. The seat feels narrow and firm, just the way I like it! If I get the bike, I will change the handlebars. It's all about wrist angle for me, and the stock bars just don't do it for me.

At any rate, welcome to the forum! There's a bunch of really knowledgeable people here, very enthusiastic about our particular choice of bike. Be sure to use the search function, I've answered a lot of my questions with info in the archives.

Yes, I've put over 1200 miles on my 2014 standard, purchased one month ago, today. Last Friday's trip from Las Vegas, NV to Gunlock, UT was close to 300 miles.

It is loafing at 80 MPH (~4K RPM in 6th) and used a lot less fuel than my friend's Vrod!

Compared to my 2016 Moto Guzzi V7II, the stock rear shocks are much more comfortable. Mine is at the low setting, as I am just under 180# and ride solo with very little gear.
