2018 West Coast Rally - kennyw - 12-22-2017 11:05 AM
I propose we stay near Medford, OR for the 2nd annual West Coast rally. There are many tent sites, RV sites, hotels, and cabins available for a variety of lodging. Timing would be late August or early September again.
Daily rides can reach the CA coast in approx 2 hours traveling through the Redwoods. Crater lake is 1.5 hours away with a nice looking loop route back to Medford.

That sounds like a good idea. I'll have both the plane and bike next door in Idaho for the summer. Also, my sister is moving back to Portland, so I'll probably be spending more time in Oregon as well.

I've only gone though Medford, never stopped. We'll have some great loop options. Hope some folks from California can make it.
Maybe some may want an extra few days and do a night in the Redwoods/Eureka direction, then over towards Redding.

If the timing/logistics allow, maybe a number of us could arrange to meet up in the Portland area and then ride together down to southern Oregon.

Guth -We'll be there Tuesday till Saturday and would love either a beer or coffee. I'll PM you when I arrive and have a clue to my schedule.
