Yep, can't beat the commute on a bike! I still get plenty of riding pleasure, I take the long way home quite often.

Sent from me

My son's ride in to work is 8 miles, but the ride home is usually 40 lol

Tuesday, September 26, 5 pm, commuting home, km 48,422

The young lady decided to leave her parking place with her little Smart and did not watch out for the passing motorcycle rider (me).

The car hit me right side, making me to lean left. Countersteering caused a turn right and let me crash into another parking car. From there I dropped to the left onto the road.

Well, right big toe is broken, bruised rip right side and a fat haematoma at my right bizeps. That's it. Was kinda lucky, I guess...

I guess, this is the last milestone for this Honda, my loyal steed.

There are too many damages, I'm looking for a replacement...

awww geez Django, sorry to hear that. Glad you weren't seriously hurt though. Got something in mind for a replacement?

That’s very sad news, Django. I’m glad you’re not badly hurt. Recover quickly.

Get well soon Django! Glad you aren’t hurt too bad.

Sorry to hear about your accident Django. I hope you recover soon.

Thank you very much for all the good wishes.

@ferret: replacement is in sight. Just signed a contract for a used CBF1000F, same model and color, but only 8,200 km on the clock.
