Thanks, Cormanus! This is a good forum, I've been rummaging around in the archives and have gained much knowledge already!

Thanks, SuHawk305! I've been doing my research, I'm going to visit the "PowerSports" dealer tomorrow to see if they still have the bike that's on their online inventory, and if the price is good. I know the guys over there, having worked in our motorcycle shop community here in the past.

Thanks, Cooldrum! That's what I have found so far, and I've learned a lot by digging thru the archives. I'm comfortable knowing I'm amongst my own kind: greybeards who've ridden many years. We have a vast pool of knowledge and experience.

So is your nemesis somebody named "Hot disc"? Cool

Oh no! Can't we screen these guys first?! Tongue

I see in the other post you have now stuck a fork in her and picked up a CB. I think there is a subset of Guzzi owners that really like the CB because it's a classic machine; not unlike your typical Guzzi - but in a Honda sort of way.

Like a Guzzi, this darn thing really grows on you the longer you own it.

I keep thinking I'll sell the Griso, there is an ABQ architect that has expressed interest. Sigh, then I ride it.

Welcome to the other dark side. Cool

Hi Ron! It's the classic look of the bike that got my attention. I would still like it no matter what name was on the tank. The test ride clinched it tho. My concern was the typical 4-cyl. buzz, and there was none of that. And none of the typical 'wait-for-it' 4-cyl powerband.

I like having different kinds of bikes to ride. The CB will be a good counterpart to the Guzzis. And I seem to be drawn to "outer fringe" bikes. And classics!

It's all practice.....

Very classic. I wish Honda would bring back a fuel injected GB500/GB650. Big Grin

+1

I think Honda was 25 years too early with the GB500. I think they could sell a few if they reintroduced it.

Ride more. Worry less. Tongue
