RE: 2016 CB1100 Owners Registry
I am on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. The last 4 digits of my serial number are 0014. A friend had 0007 but he sold it in Victoria, BC. 0021 is somewhere in Courtenay BC, 0059 was sold in Nanaimo, BC, and 0044 is for sale at Holeshot Motorsports in Langley, BC.

Does anyone know what the worldwide production of these bikes was? Apparently it was limited because of an earthquake in March, 2016 that damaged the Honda factory. Thanks.

Bikerr49, we don’t know what the production run has been in any of the years since 2010. There are lots of CB1100s in Japan, Taiwan and some other parts of SE Asia about which we know nothing. The fact that new models for 2019 being produced—if only for the Japanese market—suggests to me that the bike has been enough of a success there to warrant its continued production.

Are all the VINs you quote 2016 models, or are some earlier?

All the numbers are the last two digits of 2016 CB1100A models. The last six digits of all of these bikes begin with 1000. My bike is 100014. My friend's is 100007, and so on.

twxp, do you want me to record the last 4 digits of your VIN? If so, could you please tell me what they are?
