This feature discourages images or lengthy dissertations as one can only view three lines at a time, and can only view a tiny slice of an image at any time. That's fine with me, as I don't know that a lot of huge images are really needed for signatures, and they do take up server space. If one wants to share an image, it could be done in a thread or post, no?

Yeah Randy, first it was a blue bike and now this Tongue

I wasn't tying to rag on your pic to Guth, just using it as an example of the new effects.

Just a note. Now when you scroll through a thread, it stops on a post, scrolls through the sig line, then goes to the next post. Check Randy's post above. It is aggravating, but if that's the way it is, then that's the way it is Smile

Popgun, I can't see this happening.

Well at this point it annoys me enough to remove it completely.

Using an iPad its not much of a problem as you can scroll the screen outside of the posts. Using a PC though, the post scrolls, stops at the sig and scroll that (if the sig is long enough.

I don't use my home PC much, but at work yesterday on a PC with Windows, there were even scroll bars on the sig lines. Can't remember if ALL post had them. I'll have to fire up my home PC later. We'll all live Big Grin but I hate that Randy felt like he had to remove his bike pic.

Guth, still not complaining, just doing our usual forum over thinking Tongue

No worries, I'm quite familiar with over thinking things. Cool Speaking of which...

Here's the thing, even with the scrolling effect that you've described, the total amount of scrolling to work your way down the page is still the same when it comes to the number of pixels that you're wading through as you make your way down the content. The other option that I considered was to just a hard limit on the sig line height where anything past the defined height is just lopped off from view. This would eliminate the effect that you've pointed out.
