I' m glad for sharing too. But this seemed not to be the solution for my idlle problem.
On the first test ride after my input, the CB behaved well. On the second and now the third today, it fell back into what I call its ' bad behaviour' , as if nothing had happened. Sometimes more , sometimes less, I don't understand it. One forum member brought up the idea of the kat, which can cause the engine to run with higher idle revs, because it shall be warmed up more, although my Honda is still running a while. Okay, it's cold outside today, 0°. Maybe the CB has this kind of selfregulation, which is nowhere described and is not an explaination, why the CB shows the same symptom in warmer periods like summer.
So, I'm still searching and have a few options. One will be to reset the ECU by a local dealer, another one is, to let this kind of update be played into the ECU. With good luck the Honda cures itself by itself is a different hope of mine. But til yet it didn't. Or spend some money on exchanging the IAC. Or do nothing at all, 'cause the CB runs well,.sometimes with higher idle revs. I will drive the bike even more and make up my mind, in which direction I will go. It's very cold outside....
