1583 from my house. I could do an SS1500 and get there in 36 hours.

Orrrr...take a southern route through Kansas and Colorado and earn an SS2000 and get there in 48 hours. Hmmmm...something to mull over....

Possibly... I'm hesitant only because I don't know exactly when I'll want to leave, and I tend to ride pretty slow and stop an awful lot to take photos. My slow erratic pace might make you crazy. But let's PM for sure as the time draws closer; maybe we could leave town together and I just catch up to you occasionally throughout the journey to Idaho. Either way, I'm really looking forward to this. Thanks again.

It's a mere 1066 miles from my house, but I'll be cheating. I'm riding the CB up to Emmett, ID in May, since I'll be spending much of the summer in that part of the country. Then I'll just fly my plane up throughout the summer and my bike will be waiting for me up there. So my rally journey will really be 6 hrs. in my plane followed by a reasonable 250 mile ride through the mountains Salmon/Gibbonsville.

I'm looking forward to the rally, but haven't yet decided on camping or not. It'll be great to meet everyone!
