RE: Helmet ID
Went with a Shoei Qwest, tried the bandit on at the bike show and it wasn't the right shape for my head, neither was the bell bullitt. Shoei fit very well and had lots of great reviews. Also it is the quietest helmet in my limited experience of helmets. I won't look like the stig or Steve McQueen riding my cb1100 but the helmet meets all my needs while being comfortable and quiet.

RE: Helmet ID
I considered the bonneville, particularly the 2016 and newer T120 with its double helping of torque. However I like the cb1100 just as much and when the right deal came along I couldn't help myself. It would have cost me near double to get into a t120 and that's without accessories.

RE: Helmet ID
I've ridden his several times, and it's a really nice bike, but I like my CB1100 a lot more. Theres no question which one I'd rather have regardless of price. He prefers the Bonnie. Being brothers though we have completely different taste in things.. Clothes, motorcycles, cars, houses, furniture, women, food, even which channels/shows to watch on TV.... Im right handed, he's left handed. I'm artsy, he's mechanical. My wife is blond, his brunette.

Example...Yesterday I was dressed in modern Textile materials, wearing a modular helmet and for lunch I had a steakburger with american cheese pickles and catsup. He was dressed in head to toe leather, wearing a solid 1 piece full face, and for lunch had a steakburger with lettuce, onion, tomato, jalapenos, pickles, ketchup, mayo, mustard, and cheddar cheese.

He has owned a couple of inline 4s, but has always preferred " different" motorcycles like Moto Guzzis and Triumphs.

RE: Helmet ID
I prefer the cb1100 looks, but haven't ridden either bike enough to have a strong opinion. I love blondes and brunettes but my wife is a Latina/Italian. I wear leather when it's cold and mesh when it's hot. I don't need jalapeños on my burger because my wife is spicy enough. But your bro is dead on the money when it comes to helmets the qwest is awesome. Especially for $300 snow pesos.
