I've just gave the key of my "'old" '14 CB1100 and brought home the '17 model.

Already break in the engine and starting to enjoy it. What an amazing bike !

I have some (very) minor visual changes planned but so far, here it is:

PS: the Pearl White is absolutely gourgeous live. Pictures don't do it justice Wink

Sweet, our first 17. Tell Cormanus the last 4 digits of the serial number so he can get the 17 registration going.

How do the pipes sound? How does the clutch feel? How bright is the headlight?

Congrats!

Mercy. That might be the most beautiful bike of any make or model that I've ever seen. I would trade in my DLX in a heartbeat if they brought that version to the US. Congratulations!

Have fun with the very new CB and enjoy it. You certainly will do.

Seeing the 2017 the first time in real life, although a picture can't show the whole
truth, I must honestly say, the shape of some parts of the Honda is something one has to get used to or not.
The tank and the rear of the bike, including the seat and the pipes, look a bit strange to someone like me,
who's riding a 2013 model and is oh so used to it.

But I don't have to ride it. Again enjoy....

- The pipes are just amazing! completely different from the '14 model. Much heavier, louder and hoarse but at the sime with the inline smothness...

Not as good as live, but it gives you an idea: https://youtu.be/PCMNT1VlszM?t=10m42s (even if you don't know japanese, the full video is a great review)

- The clutch... we'll, let me put this way: In my opinion, with the revised clutch, a 1 year old can shift gears (it's freaking light!)
- Not sure how to answer on the headlight... it's bright... Smile

I changed from a CB1100 '14 to this one. And immediately, this one is noticeably better! A bit of oversteering that might be fixed with a preload adjustment in the front but otherwise amazing !

Most of the pictures I've seen it seemed like an odd tank.. not so odd in real life Wink
Although a bit more hard to "break" with your knees against the tank due to the slickness of back part of the tank

The tank looks somehow beefy.

But it's good for you, that the new modell progresses from its predecessors.

I certainly will be enlighted driving your bike, 'cause I like the big CB In Line Four
and the engine slightly being modified will not be dissapointing I assume.

Wow! The '17 CB is looks fantastic in white. Of course we're getting yet another variation of candy red in the U.S. Sad

I've never understood why Honda can't offer more color choices. All they have to do is change the tank color.
