You're mower has a solenoid Undecided ... here our mowers start with a pull cord and we push them around the yard

Why push when you can ride, aussieflyer?

I've never driven in "left-side" countries, but after watching this video, it would be fun to feel how the brain reacts.

Having driven in "right-side" countries a couple of times, I can say it takes a wee while for the brain to adjust. Intersections are the worst. Some instinct sends you where you have always gone. Trouble is, it's right in the face of the oncoming traffic! Huh

The worst for the Aussies we rode with in Europe were the round-abouts. THey would dive in them and want to circle to the left, when traffic actually circled to the right.

Yeah ... roundabouts take a bit of thinking about, although I found I was expecting them so I thought about it as I got there. I saw lots when I drove a car in Europe, but I dont recall too many in the US.

We are getting more all the time. There was a town full of them in Colorado when we were riding with LR.

RE: Ridercam review of cb1100rs
At intersections where traffic can become imbalanced, roundabouts don't work as the dominant traffic flow assumes a total control of the system making it nearly impossible for weaker streams to move. So, in Australia at least, they've been repurposed—a ghastly word meaning that the original justification for something has been shown to be flimsy so we'll invent a new one. Traffic engineers here now refer to roundabouts as 'traffic calming devices' to justify the endless roll out of these curious beasts to minor roads where flow control is not an issue, but it's hoped negotiating them will slow people down. Maybe it does.
