Cheers, the wait for it to be PDI'd is doing my nappa in , though this week is looking like its a wash out for the most part so I doubt I'd be doing much riding.
Another pic of my chosen bike sitting in the showroom just before putting the deposit down. The Black one had sold in the time between my test ride and my going back in a few days later.

Well I've eventually got it home and got farmyard crap on it that was covering the road on my ride home from the dealer. Will give it a quick rinse and head out to get some (s)miles on it .

Congrats MacDuff! That is one fine looking machine. Wish we got those here in the US.

So, did you buy that yellow lock to match those shock springs? Tongue

The red gas tank and the suspension pieces look fantastic!
In a good way, I'm glad the US isn't getting the RS...I wouldn't know how to exercise restraint if an RS is sitting in my dealer's showroom.

RE: Thinking of coming over
Pic taken whilst out for a short ride earlier. The suspension seems well damped and sprung as per my feelings on the dealer test ride. The red on the tank really pops in the sunlight, difficult to capture on phone pics. Even though I'm running in the engine the low end torque means I dont feel short changed or hampered in having fun Smile . The ride position is nice and sporty with the low rise bars and doesnt make me feel as exposed as I thought I would for an unfaired bike. I was thinking of getting a headlamp cowl but I'll hold off for now and see how I feel once I've more time on its saddle. Had to resort to rtfm to get the saddle off and managed to squeeze the disklock and stopgo puncture kit under the seat pan so thats handy as it amazing how many bikes have zero on bike storage these days even for small stuff like that.

Oh man, MacDuff. We forgot to warn you about the seat. Even my salesman didn't know how to open it. A little different on your new model but still. And although the instructions are in the owners manual, it is usually in its holder--under the seat...
