Noise pollution
I find this discussion about earplugs perplexing.
If my motorcycle was making too much noise for me to be comfortable, it almost certainly has the same effect on the general public. In which case I would not protect myself from ill-effects of my machine and leave the public to fend for themselves, I would deal with the machine which is clearly in a need of some fixing.

RE: The last one...
I think it's the wind noise, not the motorcycle noise, that has the most damaging effect on one's hearing.
There's a 1.7 mile-long tunnel on the interstate near me, with traffic moving through it at high speed in the same direction (no oncoming traffic). It's always so blissfully quiet when riding through there!
Ride more. Worry less.

I've got a pair joined by a cord and I really like them, although as I generally use noise cancelling earphones, I don't use the earplugs very often.
As Nortoon pointed out, the case is for when I take them out for gas/restroom/food stops. A pair of foam plugs is good for a day's ride, then I toss them.

The last one...
Welcome to the 2016 Checkerboard Canadian Club.
Funny I looked longingly at that Sudbury CB but worried how much it would cost to bring it 2000 km. Not sure where you heard it was the last 2016 CB from but about 3 weeks ago I was driving from Toronto and nipped off the highway near Quebec City to the Honda dealer. Amazingly they had a new 2016 and a 2017. Bizarrely they were asking only $500 less for the 2016 and I must say way more than I paid.
I did get some pics of the pair. These two are very contrasting especially side by side. It felt like two completely different bikes.

Thanks. (It was an acquisition to celebrate C150. At least this is how it was presented to the Grandmother of the 3-year old Anarchy

Talking to the dealer. Obviously quite incorrect. I very much wonder how many are left, but even more, how many were brought to Canada. Not to many, I believe. For instance, Honda Canada web pages for parts and accessories skip the 2016 model year completely. To find the rear carrier for it took some time and dealer's phone call to Honda Canada; the part number he was given was not the same as what arrived (08L70-MGC-D30), but what arrived fit the bike perfectly.

Same here (i.e., what was paid - quite a bit less than MSRP for 2017). When negotiating the price and value of my trade, I had a feeling that the dealer was quite keen to unload it. He was also more concerned I'll go on a cross-country hunt for 2017 cb, than that (as I nonchalantly mentioned I'll go across the street and take a serious look at the R-nine-T. (hardly worth the money BMW wants for it, IMHO).

The dealer in Milton said 13 - 2016s came in - dealer in BC says 16 - and the checker board is actually a Japanese only 200 special edition. Story i was told was that they really didn't want to sell it in canada in 2016 but it was on the site and they took deposits - So Japan sent over what they had - apparently 13 or 16 special editions (youtube look up 2016 cb1100 special edition) i know my bike was order in march last year and deposit paid by another fellow - it arrived in september and he didn't want it anymore - i snapped it up in December

Is it only available in chrome or is there a black version? Got a pic?
