**Schedule 2017 CB1100 Western Rally, 100 Acre Wood Resort, Salmon, ID Aug 24-27

This is what I have put together so far. Rides for Fri/Sat will be close to 12 hours long with stops (8 hours ride time). The area actually makes it difficult to plan trips that are just long enough for a single day ride without doubling back on the same road as everything is so far apart with very few roads in the scenic areas. Please give me feedback if you see anything questionable.

• Breakfast: 7-8 AM; provided by 100 Acre Wood Lodge for guests
• Lunch: Anaconda, MT
• Dinner: Salmon, ID
  

Sunday Lolo Run for those heading NW

Due to back problems, I will be unable to ride 6-8 hours a day. I'm lucky to ride 3-4 hours without pain. No way can I ride that many miles/hours. I'll probably stick to rides 1-2 hours out and 1-2 hours back.

My original idea was to set lunch and dinner locations/ times. Leaving options for peopled to ride in a group or individually with just a destination and time in mind. I found that hard to plan with the distances between everything and without taking gravel roads.

Another option would be looking for a destination to visit (hot spring, scenic spot) where you get a good break. Then, riding back on nearly the same route. That can work just as well.

I think that some "out and back" rides to destinations might work better for those who don't relish a 12 hr day. One thing I noticed recently is that when you ride a twisty road in both directions up here, you see a different view each way.

When I get back to my laptop tonight, I'll see if I can come up with some options.

I'm going to start posting a few ideas. I'm working off my phone and don't know how to add map images.

100aw - Stanley and back. 140 miles each way

100AW - Jackson MT and back. 65 miles each way.

100AW - Wise River MT and back. 86 miles each way.

100AW - Painted Rocks Lake and back. 66 miles each way. Suggest eating in Darby.

Here's a shorter loop:

100AW - Sula - Philipsburg - Anaconda - Wisdom - 100AW.
That one is 126 miles to Philipsburg, then 131 miles on the return via Anaconda.

Anyone else got any ideas?
