Transylvania, Black Sea and back home...
In the dawn of this Saturday I will start my yearly expedition, this time to explore Transylvania and finally meet with some iron butts at the IBA Germany R2E event in Konstanza at the Black Sea:
https://forum.ironbutt.org/index.php?thr...2017.1006/

Well, thinking about, how to do a ride report, let me create a Blog at wordpress.com, to collect my thoughts, pictures and adventures: https://djangotours.wordpress.com/

Feel invited to follow me for about 5,500 km in 9 days.

Looks good so far Django, I'll be following along. Have fun, ride safe!

ps loved this line, my philosophy exactly

"Hm, I should give here a wash, however, I’m afraid, there is no time and it will rain again anyway."

Me too. Ride well, Django.

I'd also like to add my support for the sentiment in this marvellous statement "... I should give here a wash, however, I’m afraid, there is no time and it will rain again anyway."

Why wash when you can ride?

No wash = rain minimal or none at all
Fresh wash = rain guaranteed

This has been my experience on road trips. It always feels better on a clean bike, until that rain comes...

Looking forward to your updates. Safe travels!
