Italian MotoGP ***Spoiler Alert***
Boy those Spaniards sure know how to ruin it for the Italians on their home track.

First in qualifying, Dovisioso, an Italian on an Italian bike (Ducati), had pole until the last seconds when Vinales a Spaniard on a Japanese bike (Yamaha) bested him by a few thousands of a second to take pole away from the Italian.

Then today during the (rain) race, Danio Petrucci, and Italian on an Italian bike (Ducati) led for 29 of 30 laps basically, before Marquez, a Spaniard on a Japanese bike (Honda), slipped underneath to take the win. Dovisoso got 3rd.

Marquez and Dovisioso now tied for the championship.

I missed it too. Looking like being a good finish to the year.

And before that, two Swiss and a Malaysian rider completed the Moto2 podium!

Loved it, Marquez timed it right this time. Disappointed that Pedrosa crashed early to fall out of contention. Once again Lorenzo can't ride the Ducati. Zarco really gave it his all pushing his bike across the finish line. The Moto3 race was a crash fest.

Dani didn't crash, he was just slow. Couldn't get any heat in his tires.
