Hello from North Carolina
Just signed up today, bought a 2014 CB1100 last Saturday with one mile on it. Got it at a dealership for a fair price, and I'm loving it.

Only problem I've had with it was that 3 days after buying it, 130 miles on it...I hit a deer on the way to work. Don't worry, I'm okay, kept it upright, bent the turn signals and dented the tank. A few bruises where Bambi's mom and I had a moment, but both of us lived to tell the tale...or tail.

Anyway, I'm a big CB fan, I've owned several over the years to include a '93 Nighthawk that I'm riding today (my 1100 is in the shop getting an estimate done), an '84 Nighthawk, and I also own my Dad's 1976 CB750 Four.

Hello Howdy and welcome to the forum. Geezalou, the bad luck. Dang forest rats. Glad you are ok.

Might I suggest using the shotgun (in your sign in name) to eliminate a few of those furry speed bumps.

Welcome from The PNW. Glad the damage was minimal and no loss of life or limb.

Welcome Shotgun! Turn signals don’t cost that much, but a new tank at the dealer is just over a thousand bucks.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

I know how you feel Shotgun. I slid off the road on my 1st CB1100 with a little over 200 miles on the odo. The insurance company totaled it with all the dents and scratches.
