I do, but with full knowledge that the liners will do a mediocre job when compared to a stand-alone specific layer for the purpose (rain or cold).

My mesh jacket has a rain liner that will keep my torso mostly dry in drizzle to light rain conditions. Is there such a thing as "water PROOF" riding gear?

My textile jacket has a thermal liner that helps me withstand the brutal winter conditions of NE Florida when I have to ride in below 60* temps (mostly when I cross the line to the frozen tundra of Georgia).

I have Under Armour thermal gear to go under my shirt and pants. Looks like I'm going SCUBA diving in a full wetsuit.

Now I'm contemplating buying a leather jacket, but not sure it would be a good investment.
