I’ve used up all my karma points for the year, so this is a no-go for me. But when I see one, I can’t help but dream a little. Craigslist will make anything look good. This one is $2000. In Central New York. CBX

I try to avoid Frankenbikes. Theres a CB 500 over here that just looks awesome, but I know the seller has duct taped it together and avoided pictures of the stuff that matters. If I get a chance, I may try to go see this CBX and be prepared to be let down. Pretty sure its a train wreck.

I showed this ad to my friend (who has two CBx's) and he was no f...ING way that's a legitimate ad! He has one that we actually call Franky because all cut up and stuff and he said he wouldn't sale it for less 3k.

I had 2 CBXs My 1980 had D&D 6 into 1 exhaust and sounded like something out of star wars. My '82 had Kerker 6 into 2 cause I wanted to balance them with the side cases. They sounded not-so-good. But I loved both bikes . If you get a chance to ride , or buy, a good one ....go for it.
