RE: END OF THE RIDING SEASON
" RIDING SEASON " is a term i only recently heard of and must say my wife and i both chuckled as she is the one always saying to buy another motorcycle [ a true keeper ] and we ride year round.
however I did ride year round while stationed at Camp Lejeune NC and the winters were brutal for a Florida boy so i do understand the individual decision to wait for better weather. also learned about " cold tires " and riding on frozen asphalt which enhanced my understanding of this decision.
you retired guys should trailer your bikes down for a mild winter like many snowbirds do
The best part about growing up in Florida is i didn't have to move here when i got old.

That's pretty impressive to say the least, but icy roads, black ice, snow and perishing cold doesn't sound like fun to me.
It's bad enough that I sometimes have to go out in those conditions on four wheels that don't fall over.
Thanks, but no thanks, I'll bear the pain of winter storage and enjoy sunny summer days out on the roads while most still have their noses to the grindstone
