Hey y'all.

I have been lurking for some time and finally decided to check in. I bought my 2013 CB in July from a previous owner with 1200 miles on it and a few modifications/add ons. I live in central Arkansas and have absolutely loved riding these past few months, couldn't ask for a better bike to do what I ask of it. Grew up on dirt bikes and ATVs, but this is my first proper street bike.

So far all I have done to the bike is install the Type II handlebars which I am very pleased with. Previous owner added a rear rack, bread loaf seat, painted side covers, fork gaitors, lots of soft luggage, crash bars, and of course RLETs. Thumbs Up

Short list of future mods planned is Arrow exhaust, 19/37 sprocket, Dart Flyscreen. Love this forum, it is a really great resource!

Also here she is on one of my favorite farm roads, and then in full weekend mode. Cool

That is a great set up. I am jealous. If you ever get over to Memphis, send me a note and let me check out that gear.

Hello Howdy and welcome to the forum. We just had a rally in Arkansas in June around Eureka Springs. Great riding over there.

Nice set of mods to your bike. A 2103 with 1200 miles. IT's crazy people buy these wonderful bikes and don't ride them. Worked out for you though eh?

Welcome Dbark! Nice find. Great looking bike!!

Ferret, the 2103 models don’t have a 4 cyl. They have a Mr. Fusion...

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

Will do! Its a short two hours. Though I'd probably be taking the scenic route which would take a bit longer.

The entire western half of the state is full of gorgeous routes, many of which I've explored already. I'll keep a look out for rallys round summer time.

And yes, I lucked out very much with this bike. Basically a brand new CB for almost half the cost. He upgraded to an Africa Twin.

It has worked out perfectly for me. Besides the gearing being a bit low, which I plan on solving, its a perfect fit for me. I kind of pulled the trigger on it before doing a ton of research, but have done A LOT of research since and have yet to find a bike for this price point that fits my needs better.

60 mph in first sounds like a nightmare to me. But yes, I'd like a little taller gearing for more comfortable highway use. I've seen a few members make the switch to 19/37 sprockets with pleasant results.

Welcome and congrats on your '13 CB! Pretty bike.

"Upgraded to an Africa Twin." I think more than a few folks on this forum would question whether that's really an "upgrade!" lol
