Hello to all, I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a 2014 CB1100. Had motorcycles since I was 13 about 48 yrs total. Last bike was a Moto Guzzi Norge and I loved the bike and put many miles on her. Been 5 yrs since moving from Colorado since I've had a bike and Im having a hard time narrowing choice down to 1 bike....but the CB has my attention as well as the Thruxton R, but I can buy 2 CB's for the price of 1 Thruxton and the CB should be more comfortable. I found a left over 2014 CB1100 for 7K which seems pretty good to me. Anyway I have retired and want to ride, mostly looking at heading to mountains for riding, camping and fishing. Any just wanted to meet the nicest people and say hello--Mike

Welcome to the forum Mike.
I'm retired and bought to CB to explore the back roads in the mountains of NW Arkansas. Have found the CB to be incredibly smooth and reliable. If you factor in maintenance ease of the Honda's I think it's a no brainer
Happy trails

Howdy from Charleston, SC. I think you would love the CB, I know I do. Houtman, and I got together a few weeks back for a bit of a ride, along with two others.
