K&N seat???
Although I have done 460 miles days on my Triumph with a touring seat, I do not expect to do much more than 300 mile days at this point in my life.
~300 miles to my youngest daughter's was OK on the Moto Guzzi V7II, with stock seat.
The 280 miles I did on Saturday on the CB1100 was without seat issue (current weight just under 180#). However, after about 80 miles, I am ready for a quick stretch.
If the seat were an issue, then a Corbin Gunfighter & Lady would be first consideration. My wife no longer rides with me, due eye issues, but I like having the rear seat to strap on a bag or jacket or box or tail bag...without adding a rack.
Just my 2 cents
Thanks champ, duly noted, think I going to get my stock sest upgraded here in Auckland.

I have since lost a bunch of weight but back surgery has kept me from trying the stock seat again to see if it makes any difference.
Good points, how did you lose the weight!

Quite simple actually - I just stopped eating as much. I can't exercise due to my back problems so I cut back on calorie intake. Since Aug of last year I have gone from 265-210lbs.
Although I should point out that my natural weight has been 200lbs (+/-10lbs depending on season) and I ballooned up to 265 after my first back surgery in 2014 and I failed to adjust my eating habits to my new more sedentary lifestyle.
Good move, they say that weight loss is 80% in put and 20% output!

classy way of saying i am fat but I find the K10 seat so comfortable. It is also very tall so you get great leg room
Classic, I'm a normal sized Kiwi, same problem!
