RE: Practical Sportsbikes Feature
Here is the Article in full, for anyone that is interested.
It's not on the shelves anymore and ok to print.
Practical Sportsbike is available on an app tho. I have a subscription, and its really good. Lots of unique bikes, great pics and how to features. Its a nice balance between restro and specials.

.... and obviously WE know a stock 2014 CB1100 isn't dull, but lets call it 'artistic licence' ;-)

Just beautiful, great effort and what a nice article. Genial hippie, indeed!

The best part about growing up in Florida is i didn't have to move here when i got old.

Very nice setup.
Is there a small gap in the trim over one of the top engine covers?
Did the kit come with a tall K&H seat?

Looks fast sitting still

Thanks for posting the article ... fun to read and see what you did. I love my stock red 2014dx with 20k miles on it, but some day I may want to copy some of what you accomplished (except maybe my 4-2 pipes ... love the chrome 4-2). Thanks again. Love it. Smile

Actually, me too. The 4 into 2 really balances the bike. The Arrow 4-2 I have on the bike, I think is a bit ugly and messy. The reason for the 4 into 1 was to reduce weight and because at the time I bought it, there wasn't a 4 into 2 header that was cat free.
There are a few now and I think if I was doing it again, I'd go 4-2. But this bike is done now for me... I think ;-)

Sorry, Typo, I have an 'Arrow 4-1' on the bike.... which I still think is a bit ugly ;-)
