Hey there CBH your bike looks very cool. I'm curious about what your requirements (law) are for a red tail & stop light / registration plate illumination / turn signals.
Cheers

By law, the registration plate has to be visible, tail light, stop light and turn signals are mandatory , something the LED strip complies with. Fenders are not required. California Highway patrol are very sympathetic towards vintage looking motorcycles .

[/quote The rear bolts lined up and I welded a small bracket at front just for peace of mind. The Grab bar is very light and attaching the rear bolts was enough.

Nice one... Looks really good.
I used the '17 plastic part of the rear fender for a cleaner look too.
If you look at a '17 compared to previous models the plastic part of the rear fender fits closer to the frame and gives more space around the rear wheel. It's about an 1" to 2" but visually it looks far neater to me. It's a straight fit but you have to make a small cut out for the seat lock. The part costs about £60 in the UK. Not inexpensive but worth it if your a pedantic, nit picker ;-)
good idea!
