New Guy here
Hello All:

I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself.

I just bought my first new bike since my 1986 Honda VFR 750... 2014 Honda CB1100. I wanted one of theses back in 2014 but could not due it to other projects and buying a new house. Fast forward to December 2017 and I found one with 0 miles for a price I could not refuse. Never understood why these did not sell better than they did. My gain I guess.

I am a bike nut and buy and flip bikes as a hobby. I like to have something different to ride. Right now I have 10 bikes and need to sell some of the junkier ones! LOL!

If you are interested see them at the link below.

I do have one question for you guys if you have the time. What is the torque for the Exhaust Flange Nuts. I am installing a Yoshimura Exhaust on it and would like to do it right.

Thanks for any help.

RE: New Guy here
Welcome Visegrip.

We’re talking about just the muffler right?

Muffler band bolt-apply engine oil and torque to 16 ft lb.
Exhaust pipe mounting bolt—15 ft lb
Muffler mounting bolt nut— 15 ft lb.

If you are talking about the the header nuts on the front of the head, 16 ft lbs. The manual calls them Exhaust pipe joint nuts.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

Perfect! That is just what I needed.

I just got the Yoshimura pipe today and the original was removed yesterday.

Very excited to run it after.

Thanks again so very much popgun!

Yep eclectic collection. Wonder how many Americans have owned a CZ and a Sachs at the same time. Bet that is a pretty exclusive group
