Ah, so you're just paying him for his company.

I don't know what the prices are like in the US but I found it cheaper here to buy the big jug and just keep refilling a spray bottle. It doesn't foam when applying but it is the same compound.

I bought aersol cans of S100, the application of which reminded me of illicit activities involving shaving cream from misspent Halloweens of my youth.

When you’re blowing that much on haircuts every 2 weeks, how can you afford those giant seegars lol

Barbershops are community gathering places, so I go there for the company as well as for the tradition and there's usually a beer tossed in to the mix, making it, as Ferret indicated, "money well spent", but you all should know that I actually have hair--in fact, more hair than bald spots for the time being. I choose to have it cut this short because I like the way it looks, it's easier to get ready in the morning, and I don't have to worry about 'helmet head' when I stop for lunch on a ride. When it gets to the point when the bald spots far outnumber the hair patches, I will probably cut my hair at home and just hang at the barbershop to read the magazines and tell dirty jokes.

I suppose having a jug of it makes economical sense, but this was the first time I've used the stuff so getting smaller and easier to use containers made sense to me. Also, I'd be surprised if I use it more than 4-5 times per season and it's easier to store the smaller containers. Plus, there was a pretty good deal on Amazon for the two cans. I have to admit, though, that it's SO easy to use, that I may clean my bike more frequently. If that happens, I may look at the refillable jug idea.

Of course not....I use Turtle Wax because Turtle Wax gives that hard shell finish.

Hey Empty bike is looking good! Glad you liked the s100, it is a good product. But yeah it is so easy to use that it makes cleanup fun and you might find yourself doing it more often. Also the cleaner the bike is when you use it the better results you'll see.
