In 2013 when I decided to return to motorcycling I looked at the Triumph Bonneville. The MSRP price was $13,000 which does not include freight, dealer prep, and sales taxes. In the mid-sixties Bonnevilles were $1300 out the door.
That sticker price and the complaints about poor brakes, suspension and fuel injection on the Triumph Forum made me look around. I bought my 2013 Honda CB500XA for $6800 out the door.
Three years later I received $3730 back when I traded it in. That's works out to about 10 cents a kilometer for three summers of enjoyment.

I missed this. Must have been away or something.
Great photos max. The bike doesn’t look a day older.

Although white police bikes seem to be a hot topic in another thread, this 750 seems to be more fitting here:

RE: New and Old Japanese Four's
Yeah thanks alprider, it did fit and actually quite a tight fitting jacket too, always has been but actually warmer than i expected maybe the fact that it has no ventilation/perforation helps, in any case we both survived the years in reasonable shape except for the hairy stuff on top ( got the hint Cormanus ).
So that camera of yours makes some very nice looking pictures, if that is the one in your avatar which i looked up?
some models in the right hands can do an impressive job.
A while ago i got a canon g7xmk2 and that has the same star pattern like the one reflecting on the shot with the helmet visor, for me it's a handful but i am slowly getting better with it, just makes me appreciate some of the better photo's out there, there are some skilled folk around.
Best wishes and good riding in your summer; max
sometimes i get lucky, and the more i practice the luckier i get

RE: New and Old Japanese Four's
While I have the same problem with the hairy stuff, max, I may not get into any jacket I owned that long ago.
