I'm pretty sure I can make this! Are most folks planning on arriving the afternoon evening of Wednesday, the 5th?

Pdedse- I'm planning on arriving the 5th for the rally. I'll probably spend the 4th in Portland. Guth has mentioned a possible Portland to rally ride. Looking forward to seeing you and your "17".

Where are you coming from? If you need a place to stay in Portland (Gresham), just let me know. That would be fun to meet up with a few from this area.

I'm in Seattle. My brother lives 1 block from Guth as it turns out.
Thanks for the offer.--Jon Z

I took my first short ride today after knee replacement.
I will be attending the rally in September. I am on the Washington Northern Oregon route to the Rally. If there are riders from North of Eugene that wants company down to the Rally just let me know when your coming through . I’ll be glad to ride with you down to Shady Cove.
Also I am about to reserve a room. If anyone wants to share to save money I’m open to that.
Kevin

Close to 3 months Cormanus. It’s still fairly painful to bend it that much.

Thanks, Kevin. I’m looking at a knee replacement sometime soon and not at all looking forward to it!

Cormanus, I am recovering from knee replacement surgery myself. I was 10 weeks post-op yesterday, had it done Jan. 31. It’s a long road but I’m feeling great considering. Already, I can do a lot more than I could the last 10 years...cutting grass, effortless on the stairs now, no limping. I’m hoping to be back on the bike early May.

Physical therapy is key to recovery...
