Rear Rack
Hepco & Becker have a rear rack that looks like it offers support for a rider. Has anyone got any experiance with this rack? Luggage is available too.

RE: Rear Rack
I have the H&B rack on my '13. I don't think it provides any support for the rider, but my passengers like the elevated bar behind the seat. It gives them a sense of security that they're not going to slide off the back of the seat.
Next time I have to get a seat recovered, I plan on having my upholstery guy make a little pad for the raised bar.

I see a very tall windscreen. I assume you are going to have the seat made taller and more comfortable.
As Honda has sold motorcycles in North America for more than half a century, you would think they would know how to make a comfortable seat for us. Or a least offer one as an accessory at a reasonable price. Not everybody is vertically challenged.
After riding for 1 1/2 hours on either my CB500X or CB1100 EX, I felt like I was riding on 4 inch pipe wrapped with 1 inch of cheap foam.[/rant]

RE: Rear Rack
I crack up when I hear tall people complaining about seat heights being too short. There are like 4 bikes I can comfortably reach the ground on (FZ-07, SV 650, CB500, CB1100, oh and most cruisers..so I guess more than 5 if you count them), and 100 I can't ride because the seat heights are too high (most touring bikes, most sport touring bikes, most sport bikes, all ADV bikes..any dirt bike bigger than 80 cc).

The screen is a Plexistar 2. I think it looks higher in that pic that it actually is. I can see over it just fine.
As for the seat, I already do have a more comfortable (flatter and taller) Tiros K seat. I think the stock is comfortable enough around town and local trips. I switch to the Tiros seat for longer trips.

I picked up a HB rear rack a while ago. Its an easy fit on a CB11RS. I fitted a Touratech rapid trap topbox mount to the alloy HB plate so I could mount a TT Zegapro topbox. That said I've just pulled the rack as it spoiled the looks too much. Its a 10 min job to refit if I need some hard luggage capacity.
