Gruezi from Switzerland
Hy,

My name is Ronald, I am 44 years old and I come from Basel, Switzerland. After 5 month of waiting, last Friday I picked my slightly modified CB1100 from 2013. I was so excited, because I have never ridden a bike so far, only scooter but never a bike with manual gearshift. My dealer introduced the bike to me very patient and trained me how to start to ride and how to change the gears. After 2h training, I was willing to ride home. It was so great but extremely exhausting. I had to coordinate my left hand (clutch), my right hand (throttle) and my left foot (gear shifting). My and my brain were extremely tensed. But practice makes perfect and no-one is born a master. Thumbs Up

Hello Howdy Nicki and welcome to the forum. Congrats on the bike and please be careful when riding, until you get used to it.

Btw have ridden in your beautiful country and loved it. Spent one night in Schaffhausen.

I haven't seen too many "real owner" photos of the white flavor...very elegant. Your '13 came with some nice upgrades with the fork gaitors, rear rack and engine guards.

Welcome.
