It's always edifying to read a review of a product with which you are personally very familiar. It makes you realize just how incomplete and subjective most of them are. Very similar to the experience of reading a local news story that you have first-hand knowledge about. It's a reminder to remain skeptical and take nothing you read about as gospel.
