N TX rider checking in
Hello! I have been lurking these forums for a while since I bought my 2014 standard CB1100 back in November 17. Bought new for a good discount, and have put about 2100 miles on it so far. Always loved the looks, and no-nonsense practicality of this bike.

Just got through reading the ecu flash thread and wanted to register and say thanks to everyone for always jumping in with your experiences and opinions. Be it tires, oil, mufflers, or farkle of all any kind, the members here are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

So far I have added a windshield (still testing this out) and have a Yoshi RS3 slip on. No other mods, may add a top box and do some camping this spring. I'll be jumping in to ask some questions of my own now that I have signed up. Having a heck of a time with this bike so far!

See y'all around here!

Welcome, Hondakid. You've joined a great community. I lived in Ft. Worth for 18 years. Some great riding, once you get out of the city. Also, some great places to eat. I did a fairly regular Saturday lunch ride. You meet the nicest people on a Honda Smile.

Thanks! I am in Keller. Is there a meetup schedule or when's the next one? I'd like to hang out with a few other CB riders, I have yet to see another on the road.

I'm in Grand Prairie. The are several meetups across DFW; I will send you a PM with details. There's not a lot of CB's in north Texas so its exciting to meet a fellow rider.
