Thread Topics/Thoughts
I'm in an alliterative mood today. Big Grin
I'd like to see a Farkle/Sparkle thread at some point. Maybe it fits somewhere else or maybe that is too broad and there will be individual threads for things like wind protection, bike protection, luggage etc.

Also, I saw a thread called Other Bikes? What's that? I thought the CB was the ONLY bike. Big Grin

Most importantly, Thanks for setting this up

You asked for it...

I had actually thought of that as I was putting things together. There are a few other categories that come to mind as well. I think for starters we have a good mix of categories, but I'll see what additional feedback I get.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Guth...thanks for the new forum.

As for forum topics, you might visit the NC700 forum for some ideas. I'm not sure you'd want to include all of them, but it might give you a couple of ideas.

BTW, the NC is the bike I traded for my CB1100. Th NC was a nice bike, but this red beauty is so much like my all-time favorite (750 Nighthawk) that I couldn't resist!

Thanks for starting the forum up Guth,

another forum I think you might like to check out is the Nighthawk forum,
http://nighthawk-forums.com/
maybe Michael252 is a fellow member???

I enjoy visiting the Nighthawk forum, and it was a great source to find answers I needed concerning the NH750 I traded in for my CB1100.

Hey Guys,

I figured I would start things on a smaller scale here at first. I have my favorite forums as well, but I'm not sure that everything that works elsewhere would be such a big hit here.

Anything in particular about other favorite bike forums that you appreciate and think would work well here?

Always listening,
Guth

The Nighthawk forum had a section titled, "Riding Technique & Experiences" in it, people post about their Sunday rides, trips, accidents and the forum admin even had Keith code's cornering bible youtube video locked in there.
However it was only about 15 minutes of it and that specific video isn't available on youtube anymore lol.

I also like how the Technical section is set up.
All the different major parts/components of a bike are split up grouped into sub sections. So if somebody wanted to post something about changing brake pads, they would post it in the "Brakes, Tires, and Wheels" sub section.

Being able to search the forums using key words from the home page was a great way to find something you were looking for and also kept people from posting stuff that was already on the site.

Thanks for the input redReno, I'll be sure to take a look.

...Guth

By the way, this forum has a search function as well. You can find it at the top of every page, just below the header artwork.
