My calendar in the winter has big sunny yellow dots on the days I walk the nature trail. Something like the gold stars I got from Miss Strong in kindergarten for being a good boy. Blue dots are days it was more than -20C with the wind chill, snowing, or raining. Red dots are all the other things in life that steal your time and money: doctors, dentists, opticians, car mechanics, etc. I hate red dots.
I wonder if that's where it comes from for me. I used to love all the gold stars I got in grade school.

RE: Todays weather
We got almost 2' of snow last night so spring seems to be somewhat delayed.

RE: Todays weather
Today was beautiful, 50 degrees, sun shining, blue skies, white clouds, got in 100 miles.
Tomorrow they are calling for 5-8" of snow, then back to near 50 on Sunday. Crazy weather I tell ya.

RE: Todays weather
Due to impending storm bringing 5-8" of heavy wet snow due to arrive at 9 AM according to the weather terrorists, I was up riding early this morning 34 degrees and 50 miles

RE: Todays weather
Ferret's weather system is passing just to the south of my location. The strong winds from the northeast are pushing the snow away from Lake Michigan. I may do a short ride later...depends on what chores are planned for me.

RE: Todays weather
Spring is coming. Tomorrow I meet with friends for a group ride. I expect -1°C, when I start in the morning right after sunset and a clear night.
Then for the day we expect blue sky, sunshine and a max of 12°C. Today was 10°C.
Yesterday somehow I took a wrong turn while commuting home and it was more than 100 km.
