I don't guys, as looks goes, other than the side covers, I still like my 2013. Sixth gear would be nice, but not a must have.

Yeah - those new side covers would look good on a 2013. Plus they would butt up nicely to my red air cleaner covers. Big Grin

Folks have questioned the look of the larger tank. You can see why.

I like the new tank shape, barely perceptible but better shape on the knee dishes and a smoother rounded back profile. I love the symmetry of the dual pipes. Love the patterned seat, love the shape of the color matched side covers, love the chromed front header pipes, love the gear position indicator. Love the silver motor and good with the silver wheels.

Don't care about the extra gear in the trans, or the ABS although I suppose that is a good thing to have, it has never been a priority for me, but since it's part of the package so be it. The extra 1/2 gal of gas is not a big deal, but still better 1/2 gal more than 1/2 gal less. The chrome bar ends are a nice touch.

Well, I probably won't be the first, but I am 99% sure that I will be able to see the DLX in person at the bike show on Friday. . I will post pictures on Saturday.

I can see why. It's because the whole image is bigger. D'oh!

If you already own a 2013 congrats and more power to ya. But can't you fellas be just as happy w/o constantly knocking the 2014 model? If you can't just admit the upgrades Honda is bringing to the 2014 USA model are delightful, you're obviously trying to convince yourself they're not.

I don't think anyone is putting down the new model, most here prefer it I believe. The new 2014 is a gorgeous bike but I prefer the 2013 model. I'm glad Honda is offering choices.

Fair enough. But, I've been here only to look for info regarding a 2014 model for the US market. I've seen a lot more negatives posted about it (by current owners that is) than positives. Not trying to stir the pot, just calling it like it is.

FWIW, I see the same thing on every motorcycle forum I visit. My bike is better because it's what I already own. My aftermarket exhaust is the best because I spent bookoo bucks on it. This brand tires are the best tires because they're the tires I have. It just gets a little old after a while.

One thing we all like...is the fact that the CB 1100 will be available in 2014, in 2 new exciting models. Some make like 1 some the other and some the previous, but it's all good from our standpoint.

Unrealistic, but wouldnt it be cool if you could order one, just the way you like it..color, brake option, trans option, wheel option, exhaust option etc etc

I like the 13 wheels, tank shape, and engine better. However, I like the 14's duals, larger tank, 6 speed and seat. Truth be told, I would be tickled to death to have either one.
