Hey everyone!

I just bought my CB1100 yesterday (number 955) after riding a 2012 Shadow Aero for a few months, but I've been wanting one since I first laid eyes on it! Although I found out there's going to be a 2014 while I was in the middle of buying mine, I got it new for just under 9k so I didn't feel the need to wait and pay more. Really looking forward to picking it up today, so I hope the weather gets above 30 degrees!

Congratulations on your new purchase and welcome to the forum. Lots of really nice and helpful characters in here willing to share their knowledge. Good luck with getting above 30F, we here in Melbourne Australia are looking forward to temperatures getting below 30C ... it's been hot! Happy riding.

Welcome to the forum! It's always hard to imagine the weather being that cold in your neck of the woods. Once that has passed, perhaps a nice ride out around the Bandera area will be in order.

Welcome fellow San Antonian, have fun with your bike and this site. These past 2 days of temps in the 30's is getting depressing, how do folks up north do this?????

sounds like you got a great price, 2K less than I paid, I still look forward to starting mine up each time I go for a ride.

Well that makes 3 of us in San Antonio, with Austin we should be able to get more than 5 together for a gathering. It is cold here for riding today!
