Damn, that is weird, guys. When I changed my tires I was impressed with the inner surfaces of the pipe and noticed the front fender was secured on the INSIDE with chromed acorn nuts. No one will ever see those, why use them?
It really seems like Honda's made some changes along the line with respect to build quality. I don't see a speck of rust or corrosion and like I've said, I've ridden in rainstorms, hosed the bike down, let it sit wet in the garage; no hint of any problems.

That's exactly right. I've seen way too many double-walled, chromed exhausts rusted all to hell. They collect moisture from combustion and if the bike isn't run hard to burn it off, bad news. And they are pig-heavy, too. The 2013 is just a clean setup. Seems like it's just a few machines 'cause mine is not showing anything, anywhere, like corrosion or rust.
