Michigan rider...
Hello all,

Been riding bikes for about 20 years on and off. Long story short, have 2 kids and gave up on it last year; until.... I saw the CB1100. I remember my neighbor's sons both had CB bikes and I always stared at them when I was outside.. I must have been 12 or 13 at the time. Anyways.. My dealer here is pretty awesome, I insisted on an ABS bike this time and he actually located one out of state that was still in the crate. They will be shipping it over in the next couple weeks. Can't wait. Now I have to decide on a new helmet. New Helmet, new ride. I like the looks of the new Bell Mag 9.. but in Michigan the mornings are cold and it is nice to have a chin guard with spoiler; so maybe a new Nolan N43E will do.

Anyways.. hopefully I will be able to keep up a photo blog.

Thanks!
Chris

Wecome aboard!

I had to buy a new helmet too, and gloves, and some boots, and a bike jacket. That bike cost me more than the dealer said!

And then the accessories... Wink

Chris of you really like the Bell 9 pick up a balaclava to wear under it when its cool. I always carry a balaclava. Anytime it gets below 60, Im wearing it.

I have carried a balaclava a few times, but it just isn't the same as having a physical chin bar. I think I am going to go with the Nolan.

Welcome aboard. I contemplated buying new gear to go with the bike's theme, but I'm just going to wear my white Shoei Neotec and neon yellow Olympia Airglide jacket.

I'm just not handsome enough to try to pull-off the Steve McQueen look. Big Grin
