Retro is the new black
http://www.roadrider.com.au/special-feat...-new-black

This article from our Australian Road Rider Magazine is an independent review. It may come in handy next time there is some robust retro bike discussion from our Euro and British retro cousins.

Especially our Triumph riding friends who are always eager to look smug in their open face helmets, goggles and silk scarfs when we turn up at the roadside cafe.

They will never admit that our bikes are more powerful, better handling, made in the original brands country and better finished.

Vic - thanks for sharing. The article presents a nice comparison, although having owed a Thailand made Bonneville, me thinks they give the Bonnie a wee bit too much credit in some departments.

I have not spotted another CB1100 in my neck of the woods. Here it's about 70% HDs, 15% Japanese/Victory cruisers, 10% sportsbike, and maybe 5% BMW, Goldwing, et. all. Basically cruisers, cruisers, cruisers.

Like many of us here, I enjoy riding a unique machine that attracts some attention.

Its been quite some time since you could buy a Duc GT in the U.S. Are they still selling them in other markets?

Go hagofuku yourself.

Great article. It seems like the Honda pleased the riders.

Nice article indeed, but what's with all the Triumph Rider bashing? ROFL
