Off to Tasmania
Finished packing the old girl today. Some new tyres and a service and we are ready to go. Riding with a mate on his GS Suzuki and will spend a couple of days at the Broadford rally in Victoria before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania to Devonport. The weather looks to be fairly ordinary so I suspect a wet butt may be on the cards in the next few days. I will try to post up some pics during or after the trip.
Estimated distance for the return trip using backroads is about 5500km.

Tezza, safe travels, and keep us posted. Hey, what screen is that on your beautiful white CB? Looks great!
No more CB, but a GB.
Triumphs and Ducatis.
A Norton, MV, and Morini 175.
Probably others.

RE: Off to Tasmania
The screen is one of those universal fit jobs. MRA brand made in Germany. I have mounted the camera on the left indicator stem. The rubber mount should cut down on the vibes or make it worse....will have to wait and see. It's raining now so we are probably going to cop the tail end of the cyclone from Nth Queensland.

Know all about wombats. Hit one on my first bike(Suzuki 50cc) when I lived in Canberra. Front wheel stopped at the engine and the wombat kept going.
Found the link for the screen if anyone is interested.

Off to Tasmania
Hey Tezza. Have a great trip and send us lots of photos. I'm contemplating a ride to Tasmania sometime. I grew up and learned to ride motorcycles there and I'm looking forward to revisiting it.
