I'm not alone anymore
It was bound to happen. While driving to work yesterday I spotted a CB1100 going the opposite direction.
At first I was excited, the next moment sad because I don't have the only one in the area anymore, then the next moment I was excited again as I realized this model just might turn into a sales success for Honda. Smile

With red being the only color option imagine the confusion when you park your bike and come back with 2 more parked right beside it. Huh

That's why the US accessories market needs to get going...

Oh, man, when I read the title to this thread, I thought we were going to get a long story about how you ended up with a mail-order bride or something. Big Grin

I know the feeling. As far as I know there are only two of us in Jacksonville, FL. I wad sitting at a light yesterday when a guy pulls up in a car next to me & says "I have that same bike!" What are the chances in a city of 1+ million that we end up next to each other at a light?

Anyway, I guess a club of 2 is still pretty exclusive!

You've actually got number 4 or higher in Jacksonville. I bought the 3rd one the day they got them in stock on March 29. The other 2 were preorders from what I was told and never hit the floor. But hey, 4 is still pretty exclusive. Cool

Sweet! I picked mine up from Purcell's. First one they sold, or so they say. The more the merrier! Hopefully Honda will bring out some accessories if enough of us have em!

RE: I'm not alone anymore
The two dealers I worked with before purchasing my CB1100 (on May 10) claimed they had sold several of them already this spring. The bikes are definately in stock on all the showroom floors that have Hondas in the Baltimore-Washington area.

It's nice to be riding a unique motorcycle, but I hope Honda sells enough to convince them and others to start offering a full range of accessories.

Agreed. That and having access to a variety of tires in the stock sizes down the road would be nice. I personally would really like to see enough sales success with the CB1100 that other manufacturers would follow Honda's lead and release modern UJM retros of their own.

The Honda CB1100: STILL air-COOLed
