RE: Interesting write up on the CB1100
Just shows owner's are passionate about their CB1100's and that's a good thing.

RE: Interesting write up on the CB1100
Interestingly, I thought this same guy put together one of the best reviews that I've seen of the 2013 CB1100 (as mentioned previously in this thread). It wasn't totally glowing, but it was obvious that he had spent a good deal of time with the CB1100 and seemed to appreciate it for what it was.
As I said before, I bought the CB1100 primarily for it's looks. While there is plenty that I like about the bike, that remains my favorite part of the ownership equation. I didn't test the CB1100 before buying, but I do recall being concerned about the weight. My fears weren't exactly diminished until I finally got a chance to actually spend some time riding the bike. At 570 lbs., I would have been even more hesitant and can understand the comments regarding the DLX's weight. While it's all relative, the CB1100 in any configuration is certainly no lightweight. The CB1100 is a great all-around ride, but by and large I'm guessing that most people who are buying this bike are being influenced more by the looks of the bike than by the performance. Obviously that works for me.
I'm hoping that the '14 models generate more attention in the near future. Honestly, I expected to see more coverage in the media by now. With that in mind, I was glad to see this write up as it at least helps get the word out.
