RE: Forum Gear - Shirts etc.
I would buy an embroidered t-shirt, for sure. Then when I'm out riding around I'll wear it and show other CB riders there's a forum out there for them (if they haven't discovered that already). Actually, I haven't seen any other CB riders yet.

And we will also have matching valve stem caps! And matching Lever End Rubber Thingies, which I haven't even tried to put mine on the bike yet but they look impossible. I know it's not though, because all you other guys have done it. So it must be possible.

Sue the rubber thingies can be tricky. If yours are still in OEM honda bag they will go on much better due to being softer. If they are out of the sealed bag after all theses years the rubber can get hard. And be very hard to get on. I have soaked some of my hard rubber ones in Seallube which you can buy on eBay. It's made to pour in auto motors & Trans and powersteering units and rear ends it will stop any seal from leaking. I have been using it for years. Just don't use in brake systems! I got several sets soaking now which I bought from a dealer in no bag but did not know untill I got them in the mail. WD40 and 2 people with 2 sets of needle nose pliers will help with the hard ones. Hope that helps you.

Soak 'em in boiling water till they're soft and they'll just slide on. The trick with the pliers looks OK too. Or copy the Ferret: get the dealer to put them on. Smile

It's probably not a good idea to have a T-Shirt made for every website we visit's banner though... Eh Cormanus Dodgy I can't see you strutting around the outback with your 'Big'nBouncy.com' slogan across your chest mate ! Big GrinBig Grin

I don't want to hijack this thread, but couldn't you just plasti-dip the lever ends to get the same look?
