Broke the 1000 mile mark. Woo-hoo!
I'll bring a knife to a gun fight.
Leave with a knife and a new gun.

CB, any details? I was going to do my RC 1, but the inside felt like it might have been painted with some thing "weird". I have a boat that has the unfinished side of panels sprayed with something that never really got all the way hard. So I didn't want to take a chance with the RC and was afraid of a mess when I tried to clean it up before painting.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it!

I had quite the productive night working on my CB.
- Installed a Vizitec Supabrake II brake modulator and oxygen sensor eliminator. Detailed here
- Installed my newly ceramic coated header and a new Moriwaki Megaphone exhaust.

Honda should really make a 2016 black dlx with silver motor..that is such a pretty bike. Then again for the sake of peace around my house I hope they don't.

RE: What did you do on, or to, your CB today?
Tanked up my new-to-me '14 DLX for the first time. 176 miles, 2.9 gallons, which comes to about 60 mpg. Not as impressive as the routine 70 mpg on my F800GT, but the CB is over 100 lbs heavier and has about 45% more displacement, so I'll take it. At least it takes regular.
With the topped-off tank, I took a lap up to 10,600' Echo Lake and stopped at the lodge to see Barb and have a slice of warm apple pie. Temps up there in the 40's and a light rain. The trees are just barely starting to turn. In another three weeks, it'll be like heaven. Anyway, today's jaunt made for a perfect ride on the CB. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Ride more. Worry less.

RE: What did you do on, or to, your CB today?
Well, it wasn't today; but, a week ago, I hooked up a battery tender connector, plugged it into the wall, gave the bike a rudimentary clean, covered it and left it under my son's house and left Australia for the Solomon Islands where I will be working for up to the next two years.
All very sad as it means I will not be spending time on the CB, except on the occasions when I can get home. Over the next month I need to think about whether I really find a way to put it to bed or hope I can get home to use it often enough for it not to suffer too much.
Access to the internet is slow and expensive here, at least until we get properly settled, so I won't be around here very much for a bit.
