Found a puig screen on big time sale on Amazon, you had to buy the screen separate, but the total was less that half, what I say em going for there places online..

So I mounted it today, with the obligatory go fast sticker

Looks good, especially with the sticker.
can you link to the 2 you bought??

Stickers were off eBay, but the card with em lists them as http://www.stickmanvinyls.com

i was referencing the screen itself.

Doh

You gotta also get the insert, there is a link below in the ad. you can get both together for like 65 bucks, where they are about 120 online

Put on Rox two inch risers last night. They really need knurled posts. They slip in the clamps even when tight. I made some shims. Now they work great. The front brake line is tight. I'll get braided lines in the not-so-distant future, so this will be okay for now. The bars are about 1.5" higher and 1" closer. A big gain in comfort even though it wouldn't seem like that much. And it's easier to adjust the mirrors for a better view to the sides.

FWIW, I have 2 of the same ROX risers for sale in the forum members classifieds section. Mine never slipped and remained perfectly solid.

I received and installed my new flashing led brake light from superbrightleds.com. I, initially, was going to install a brake light modulator that I already had on hand, but discovered that it wouldn't work properly with the oem dual filament bulb which caused me to purchase the below pictured new led bulb (no external modulator required).

Catbird, is that a plug and play? Take off lens, take out the old bulb, stick that in, and button it back up? How does it flash? (what sequence?)

The answer is yes, plug and play. See his link for details of flashing ect.

Your buddy Wink Ridem actually posted about this a long time ago...

How's it work?
Well, you must squeeze the front brake lever and/or step on the rear brake pedal. These two actions will cause the brake light to immediately pulsate 3 times and then illuminate steadily for 1 minute as long as the brake lever and/or pedal are squeezed or depressed. After aforementioned 1 minute interval, the light repeats the 3 pulsations and so forth. (I'm being silly Tongue)

Are you happy with it?
Seriously, I suppose I'm 'satisfied' with it. I do wish it pulsated every 15 or maybe 30 seconds rather than 1 full minute, but I can live with it. Over the years, I've spent a lot more $ on a few sets of hyperlites for my various bikes. Without a doubt, I much prefer the hyperlites, but they cost ~4 or 5 times as much. I may eventually go for the hyperlites, anyway.

I, typically, feel very uneasy about the possibility of being rear ended by an inattentive driver. Probably 40 years ago, I was giving my young niece a ride on the back of my Honda CB350; we were stopped waiting to make a left hand turn when I suddenly heard screeching tires and fishtailing from the car behind me as well as an abundance of smoke from the burning rubber of his tires. Anyway, it scared the heck outta me and I'll never forget it. We came very close to death on that day. Thank you Jesus Worship

Yes, plug and play. Complete job takes ~10 minutes, if you're slow like me.
