The rally is fast approaching so time to do some routine maintenance on the CB, starting with an oil and filter change. A good enough reason to go for a morning ride, enjoy the lovely weather and warm up the oil.
Stopped at my favorite local scene, a beaver pond on Mill Creek just a couple miles from the house. Barn Swallows and Red-winged Blackbirds nest around this rodent created habitat.
The view north on Mill Creek and the large marsh surrounding it.
Rode from here into Wayne County where corn has replaced the Vidalia onions that were harvested last month.
Took it back to the house and did the oil change then a cup of "hart" Earl Grey.

Lovely, redbirds.
Tell me, do the local ferrets enjoy munching an onion or two? This country recently had a Prime Minister who was a bit keen on gnawing away at raw onions.

That video is not showing up Cormanus.
Nearest thing we have to ferrets are weasels, minks and otters and my guess, they all detest onions.

I was ready to finish up maintenance on the CB this morning then remembered I hadn't picked the garden in two days. Guess I better start checking daily.
Squash and zucchini anyone?
