Fitted a new drive sprocket, chain and driven sprocket. Also front and rear wheels with Pirelli Angel GTs. The left crankcase cover goes on tomorrow. I think I have let some air into the front brakes as they are very spongy so I will replace the brake fluid in both front and rear systems and bleed them. Once the bike is back together I will then do the remaining items of a major service.

Cheers

Rode the "Blue Slide Road" which is 25+ miles of twisties (you gets lots of the squiggly arrows on the yellow signs with a lower speed limit warning) which is perfect for breaking in a new bike.....the CB1100 performs flawlessly

Let my brother ride it. His Miata was in the shop for some scheduled maintenance, so I picked him up and brought him to my house. Nice day so we decided to go for a ride. I let him ride the CB ( which he had never ridden) and I rode my ST. 54 miles, good ride. After we got back he said " I see why you like this bike so much. Has a small bike feel, but feels planted like a big bike. Handles better than my Triumph." He also said " I can tell running it up to 3500 rpms that it just wants to run, bet it is a beast up top."

I'd say your brother described it well.

One other note from me... at one point I pulled up nearly along side so I could look over at my bike going down the road. Man, it's a beautiful bike. I am so happy. Thanks Honda!

I looked at my Honda after a long ride in a very warm sun and discovered what the combination of a windshield and hot sun was able to do.
Look at the picture on the right side and have your own thoughts.
I had mine.

Isn't it amazing? Yes, it is. In my opinion.

I've seen similar damage to vinyl siding from nearby windows.
