Not sure what happened today, or how long we were down (thanks Thom for the email). I don't really know much of anything about databases, but through the wealth of information out there on the internet, I seemingly was able to repair the corrupted portion of the database that this forum depends on. Hopefully this doesn't happen again any time soon. Sorry all for the inconvenience.

Alright, "Polishing the DLX" has no hidden context. Funny, how could I have not seen the writing on the wall with that one.

Apparently, I can say the "Database took a dump" and not be too far off of the mark. I'm hoping that I don't find myself repeating that phrase again anytime soon.

And no, nothing to do with Tortuga's Poll or anything else that's happened around here recently — as far as I know that is. It must be Monday.

Monday for sure. A computer at my office got a virus (stupid Windows) and monopolized the internet bandwidth, taking down the phones.
